Sunderland has experienced difficult and emotional times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, but as a City we are coming out of this crisis stronger, as our local communities have worked together to help make a difference.

Sunderland Voices Captured provides a new opportunity to remember and share how we have coped as individuals, families, communities and as a city living with Covid-19 restrictions.

Everyone’s lives have been affected in some way by this unprecedented and ongoing pandemic.  This is a place where you can remember and contribute your experiences so that we can in time look back and reflect on what happened to us.  You may have lost a loved one and want a space where you can tell others about the impact that they had on the world? Or you may have a neighbour who has gone ‘above and beyond’ to help and want the opportunity to thank them?

This Virtual Book of Memories gives you an opportunity to remember, share and reflect.

This is about your city and your journey so far.

We would love to hear your stories.
